Duration: 2 hours online and a half day face to face
Description: This qualification is aimed those looking to undertake the role of an Emergency first aider in the workplace, as outlined in the Health and Safety (First-aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.
This qualification is aimed at those over 16 who are able to undertake the responsibilities associated with being a workplace emergency first aider. Candidates between 14-16 years can undertake the qualification, however they should not be relied upon by employers to be a sole emergency first aider.
Online Learning: You will be live online with a tutor throughout so you can still enjoy an interactive process. You will receive information on how to access the online sessions no later than one week before the course start date and you will receive learning resources via email and by post. All you need is a device that is connected to a stable internet connection and have access to emails. Once on the course you will also have access to a number of online resources that can be downloaded to help you with your learning and continuing development.
Booking: Choose your preferred online dates, there are options for conventional day courses and modular evening courses available and don't forget to also book a date for your skills assessments as well, which is held at our Shropshire base, just south or Shrewsbury.
Validity: Your qualification will last for 3 years.
