Description: The course covers recognising possible signs and symptoms of a person that has mental ill-health, Understanding Mental Health and its stigma, Using a Mental Health Action Plan to help those in crisis or need, Finding external professional help and guidance,The law in relation to mental health and the workplace, Best Practice in the workplace e.g. when helping someone to stay in work or return to work
Online Learning: You will be live online with a tutor throughout so you can still enjoy an interactive process. You will receive information on how to access the online sessions no later than one week before the course start date and you will receive learning resources via email and by post. All you need is a device that is connected to a stable internet connection and have access to emails. Once on the course you will also have access to a number of online resources that can be downloaded to help you with your learning and continuing development.

With a wide range of expertise in the medical, search and rescue, military and education systems we know our stuff. We also know that first aid and health and safety courses can sometimes be a bit dry. We wanted to be something different and engage with our learners leaving them enthused and excited about the qualifications they have just gained.
